Library launches social media contest: you could win an iPad mini!
About the contest:
Oakville Public Library is embracing this digital age in a number of ways. New technologies are allowing us to learn and communicate faster than ever before, and we’re actively using social media to keep you up to speed!
To help us stay connected, we’d like to know about your interests and the content you’d like to see posted on our Facebook & Twitter sites. By completing a brief questionnaire and “liking” or “following” us on social media, you’ll have a chance to win 1 of 2 iPad minis!
How to enter:
At any time between November 19 – December 19, 2012 you’ll have to:
1. “Like” us on Facebook or “Follow” us on Twitter
2. Complete our brief 10-question survey (accessible via www.facebook.com/oakvillepubliclibrary or www.twitter.com/OakvilleLibrary)
It’s that simple!
Winners will be contacted on December 19, 2012 by phone and/or e-mail.
Rules & Regulations:
In order to enter the Explore More with Your Library: Social Media contest, you must:
1. Be 13 years of age or older
2. Be a resident of the Oakville community*
3. Have completed the Explore More at Your Library survey by 11:59pm on Wednesday, December 19 2012.
*If you live outside of Oakville but have an Oakville Public Library card, you are still eligible to enter. Residents of other municipalities will be asked to present their Oakville Public Library card should they be selected as a winner.
The contest is not open to Oakville Public Library staff members, volunteers and/or their immediate family members.
To acquire prizes, winners must contact the Marketing Department by 11:59pm on Friday, December 21, 2012.
