Frankenstein

Hello ENG3U students studying Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.

There are some good links on our pathfinder page (under Students above)

When using Google, try to narrow your search by using good sites, e.g., Frankenstein:org or Frankenstein:edu. You can also do the same thing and look for pdf or ppt if you get tired of the same web pages. if you don't want any results based on science you can search Frankenstein - science.

Our databases have excellent resources. Try the Literary Reference Center in Ebsco. or The Gale Virtual Reference Library in Knowledge Ontario. In the latter search for Frankenstein and then expand the subjects on the left side. good stuff. Both available under Databases above. If using at home you'll need our list of logins\passwords at the exit door.

Citiations? Bibliography? If you are using a recent version of Microsoft Word (PC or Mac), go to the reference section and select MLA. Insert your source immediately after each bit of information you researched, quoted or paraphrased. When done click the Bibliography button and it's done.

Need to do a Presentation? Have a look at our Better Presentations page. Don't merely throw text on a slide!
